Juan Guzmán, a globally renowned mining consultant, brings unparalleled expertise in 25+ mineral commodities, including aluminium, cobalt, copper, gold, lithium, and more. As the founder and CEO of GEM since 2008, he has led 450+ studies in economics, evaluation, strategy, optimization, mine planning, data analytics, and projects worldwide.

A professor at prestigious institutions like Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile and the University of Chile, Juan also contributes to the ESG program for mining at the Duke Education Corporation. With two books and over 20 scientific articles to his name, Juan is a distinguished authority in the mining industry.
