Biography

Berit Lehrmann is a postdoctoral researcher in the marine geoscience group at the National Oceanography Centre, UK). She gained her PhD in Economic Geology from the James Cook University, Australia. After working on seafloor massive sulphides at the Federal Institute for Geosciences and Natural Resources, Germany for two years, she joined the National Oceanography Centre in 2016. Since then she has been involved in several research cruises trying to understand the chemical variability of deep-sea mineral occurrences and their resource potential using mobile drilling techniques.
